I’ve said how much I like dropbox in the past – file sharing and storage has never been easier across devices and keeping important things in one location adds piece of mind. That in and of itself is great, but then i started using an app called PlainText which has made the service even more valuable (to me at least). PlainText is a really simple tool that allows you to type, you guessed it, plain text documents on your iPhone or iPad. It also allows you to add folders to keep things organized – I have one just for blog posts. The cool part is that you can sync it with your dropbox account and have your documents at your fingertips or desktop at any time. Now my notes or ramblings can be accessed anywhere, shared or edited as needed which has been a real time saver when Im on the move. Two really cool tools that have helped me stay connected and eliminated a lot of emails to myself.
